OF flare tip
The flare tip of type OF is provided with a jet-stabilizer type construction. The flare cap includes pilot burners , flame stabilisers and a wind shield, which protects the tip from wind gusts. In order to reduce the flow of purge gas, a gas lock is provided inside the header. The efficiency of combustion is ensured by the rate of gas escape from the concentrator and natural air suction. There are also nozzles and flame stabilisers in the upper part of the concentrator.
OFV flare tip
The OFV flare tip is designed for safe, smokeless combustion of permanent discharges (purge gas) - without steam or auxiliary fuel. An efficient mixing unit ensures that the gas is in maximum contact with the air. As a result, the OFV head produces a vertical, dense, turbulent flame.
The combustion gas moves to the top of the circular channel of the OFV flare and mixes turbulently with the air blown upwards through the central channel of the flare.
